Mabaan bracelet used at wedding celebration!

Beaded bracelets in Mabaan are very important. And they are not just given to anyone. They take time and come from the heart. The beaded bracelets are a part of the culture here in South Sudan. One makes the bracelet for a dear friend or a special occasion like a wedding. I don't think there is a significance to the colors used. They are all different colors, different designs, and different sizes too! My friend Rebecca plans to teach me how to make one of my own :)
